Thanks to the mob at BEAUTY / crew, I received the L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover foundation to put through the paces just before Christmas last year. Or maybe it was after Christmas? You know how that time seems to blur together. Anyway, I got it, I tried it and here's what I thought about it.

It's billed as a full-coverage long wear foundation and, as expected, it was a thicker formula than I'm used to that required a bit more work to blend and cover, although I've noticed other reviewers say it glides on like a dream. At first I thought that it made my pores stand out but after it settled and baked or whatever it does, they weren't as noticeable. The coverage was indeed full but, as I say, it was hard to tell if that was a good thing, given I was all like . . .

It did feel lightweight on the skin as promised and I feel like it would be a good product for evening out skin tone (providing you selected the right shade) and covering up any perceived imperfections. There was no discernable scent.


The tube packaging would be ideal for travelling and dispenses a controlled amount per firm squeeze.

Being a L'Oreal product, you'll be able to find this on special just about everywhere, so if you have the opportunity to get a colour match in store or already know what you'll be, it would definitely be worth a go if you were after a full-coverage foundation.
