Vani-T Product Review, Giveaway And Special Offer
March 21, 2016As you may know, I attended the Adelaide Bloggers United event in February and had a lovely time meeting brands, bloggers and the like down at Glenelg.
I also hauled away several kilos of products generously provided in goodie bags. Today I'm talking about one of those amazing brands, Vani-T.
I knew of Vani-T from their gorgeous displays in Essential Beauty but had never had the time to actually check any of the products out in between paying for my half-leg and underarm waxing so I was excited to finally pop open some of that pretty packaging and have a look.
I did not realise they were a South Australian company that counted many a legit celeb as clients/fans. They've even provided gifts for swag bags at the Oscars so obviously I'm practically a celebrity myself now by association.
Founder Tania explained the origins of the brand and her desire to make something that was high-end, ethically produced and eco-friendly yet gorgeously packaged; styling the concept of "eco-glamour".
I hadn't had much experience with mineral make-up and Tania showed me how to easily apply the mineral powder by tapping small amounts of product out using the lid of the container and swirling with brush. She also demonstrated her level of skillz when she colour-matched me on the first try to a powder that completely blended into my face without detection.
Attendees were not only presented with a gorgeous goodie bag containing self-tanning lotion, a tanning mit, Bronzing Custard, a blinged-out lipstick, lipglaze and mineral eyeshadow on the day but contacted afterwards and offered another product to try.
Obvs, I couldn't go past the Mineral Powder Foundation*, having seen the results!
Have a look at the Mineral Colour Crystals eyeshadow in "Swiss Chocolate". It's so pretty and sparkly, and blends out beautifully.
Fun fact: I have never shaved my legs. I wouldn't even know how.
Anything custard-related is going to appeal to me (except trifle - too rich and I don't like cream) so I slathered it on my pins for a week to see what happened. It's a rich, thick, luxe formula with a lovely coconutty smell that took me back to Mum's tanning oil of the 80s, only a million percent sun-smarter. The custard also has moisturising properties that negates the need for a regular moisturiser and you can even use it on your face if you want a bit of a bronze boost.

And if that's not enough, I'm giving away the Brazilian Bronze Self-Tanning Mousse and Tanning Mit valued at nearly 50 bones so you can tan your own hide just in time for autumn. Tan fan Caitlin at Twist of Cait has reviewed these products and has also given them the bronzed thumbs up.
