I will let you in on a little secret; Insta and blog giveaways are where it's AT in terms of competitions. The pool is smaller and you have a better chance of winning. I'm not particularly lucky but since I started blogging and pro-Instagramming, I have won a Physician's Formula translucent powder, a set of Copper & Co handpainted coasters, a coffee and tea gift pack, $50 worth of Savers vouchers, a Thankyou natural skincare gift pack and well, spoiler alert, now something else!

Nine West recently ran a competition for one lucky Insta follower to tag in two mates and have all three win a pair of flats from their Speakup range. (You might remember I bought myself the black sparkly ones recently.)

Time passed and then an Instagram message popped up for Stacie, Jen and myself; alerting us that Stacie was the winner and we were the lucky friends!! HURRAH! 

We arranged with their PR department to go to Nine West Rundle Mall to choose our winning kicks and after some confusion on arrival (they had no idea what we were on about, then found the message, then thought it was only one pair, etc) but it was all sorted out in the end.

Stacie was on the hunt for plain matte black flats as her old ones had blown out.





And Jen was originally thinking the black crocodile texture but the black glitter caught her eye and that was the end of that.



As for me, I was going to play it safe with the nude patent but when it came to the crunch, I couldn't go past the gold glitter.



I mean, free shoes, you might as well go for something jazzy - am I right?
